Custom - Made - to - Order - Hose Constructions

We can furnish custom built hose designed to meet your unique requirements in a wide variety of rubber compounds, tube thickness, and end finishes, specified lengths, and a wide range of I.D.'s.  Inquiries should advise us of the material being conveyed, temperature, working pressure or vacuum, operating conditions, coupling type or end finish, and any specific requirements such as contact with oil, chemicals, or abrasives.

Plain ends are generally furnished on wrapped hose.  Wire reinforcing, unless otherwise specified.  The plain end is obtained by cutting hose to a specified length.

Capped ends is a rubber ring vulcanized over the exposed carcass fabric.   This seal prevents wicking action of exposed carcass fabric.

Hand-built hose, either wire reinforced  or wrapped, is available with enlarged  ends.  The hose end is enlarged to  accommodate the O.D. of  a nipple.

Beaded ends may be ordered on any  hand built hose with a smooth bore -  hose I.D. is unrestricted.  Normally  used on hose handling chemicals and  abrasive materials - split rings permit  quick and convenient hose rotation for  long life...bolt holes may be quickly  aligned with this type backup rings.

All wire reinforced, hand-built hoses  are available with soft ends.  This  soft end, has all construction  elements except the wire.  Soft  ends permit leakproof clamping  of the hose because the wire does  not overlap the coupling shank.

Wire reinforced, hand-built hoses are available with built in nipples.  The nipple is built into the hose as  an integral part of the body.  Commonly  used in the petroleum industry.

Duck and Rubber flanges are rubber  flanges with steel back-up rings built  into the hose at the factory.  Rubber  covering on the flange is the same as  the hose tube stock, and is determined  by the type of hose service.  The  flanged ends provide a liquid tight seal when  bolted  to a mating flange.   Specify drilling arrangement when  ordering.
